There's no two ways around it: The Biz of Football fell apart in Week 3 of the Coors Light Fantasy Football League being hosted by Yardbarker and the National Football Post.
Well, that's not quite correct. Technically, we blew up, and not in the good way.
Drew Brees, who garnered 39 points in Week 1, pulled in all of 5 points against Buffalo. Tony Gonzalez pulled in all of 1 point. All told, we went from being tied for first place in total points going into Week 3 with a 1-1 record, and by Monday night, had dropped to 7th out of 12 in total points, with a 1-2 record.
We never expected to end the season in first, but were hoping to be better early in the season. But, it's still early. We could pull out of it. We have some rough competition in Week 4, so going 1-3? It's a possibility. Still... kick back and join the fun. We didn't expect to be in it given some unorthodox methods for selection. But, we have tasted the fruits of Week One, and plan on tasting them again.
