At a recent UFL executive meeting in Orlando, Commissioner Michael Huyghue, along with each of the head coaches, announced the addition of many highly qualified assistant coaches to their rosters for the League’s upcoming “Premiere” season. Of the 30 coaches being announced today, nearly 85% have walked the NFL sidelines as a player, coach or both. Commissioner Huyghue also named San Francisco Head Coach Dennis Green as Chair of the UFL’s Competition Committee, a role he had previously held in the NFL. “One of the keys to the overall success of the UFL is the high caliber head and assistant coaches that we have been able to attract,” said Commissioner Huyghue. “The addition of these highly talented individuals, along with the naming of Coach Green as Chair of the League’s Competition Committee, are further indicators of our goal of producing a high quality product on the field that within time will be indistinguishable from other professional football leagues currently playing.” In Las Vegas, under the tutelage of Head Coach Jim Fassel, the following assistants were revealed: - Isaac Carter, Defensive Backs
